Why the United States Should Withdraw from the UNFCCC Treaty

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change treaty was ratified by the US Senate in 1992, yet most Americans are unaware of America’s commitments under this treaty … or that we had entered into the treaty.

The new book, Clexit, For a Brighter Future, establishes why the United States should withdraw from the UNFCCC treaty.

Clexit, short for climate exit, establishes the futility of attempting to cut CO2 emissions.

It provides the technical reasons for why it’s impossible to meet the objectives set out by the United Nations, and others, to cut worldwide CO2 emissions 50%, and cut US CO2 emissions 80% by 2050.

From Clexit’s rear cover:

Hysteria over climate change is now threatening to deny billions of people around the world access to the energy they need to maintain and improve their standard of living.

Governments are engaging in efforts, promoted by the United Nations, to impose regulations on energy usage so as to cut CO2 emissions.

Clexit For a Brighter Future explains why efforts to cut CO2 emissions are not only harmful, but fruitless.

The United States can reassert its leadership by withdrawing from the UNFCCC treaty. It can then lead the world in economic development by encouraging the use of fossil fuels that provide cheap and reliable energy.

The companion book, Nothing to Fear, published last year, provides the scientific background for why the dire predictions based on the CO2 hypothesis are wrong.

Clexit establishes the case for the United States withdrawing from the United Nations Climate treaty.

Nothing to Fear, establishes why the CO2 AGW hypothesis is wrong, and why there are better scientific reasons for what is causing global warming and climate change. It explains why CO2 emissions are not the problem.

Nothing to Fear is available from Amazon and some independent book sellers.

Dear Donn, I am still of the opinion that we very much need your views and your sharp insights, however I hope that God will forgive you for your extremism. Our children will probably not.

My grandchildren are in full support, and will benefit from withdrawing from the UNFCCC treaty.

I understand your frustration with the UNFCCC treaty. I agree that political solutions are quite impossible and only waste money.

That’s why ThorCon is approaching the problem with new nuclear — liquid fission, to generate electricity cheaper than coal. US CO2 emissions are small compared to the future emissions of the developing nations. They have plans to build 1400 GW of new, coal-fired power plants.

Our design and technology enables us to capture this market by underselling coal. We can increase the prosperity of developing nations with cheap, reliable electricity, check increasing CO2 emissions, and make money for investors in a trillion-dollar market.

Skepticism is a rational reaction, so please study this introduction.

Interesting concept as described in the link, however little said about status with NRC.

    FYI,

My grandson, who is a Marine, is also very well informed and would agree with your information. I cannot judge the qualifications of your critic but have studied the data as an Engineer for over 20 years and it has become clear that the UN is interested, admittedly, in wealth distribution rather than Science. Everyone should try to look at the data from both sides of the argument and become well informed rather than adopting the opinion of a politician or an environmental advocate. There is so much data that proves the CAGW folks are cooking the books with temperature adjustments and failed computer models.
Finally one should follow the advice given below especially on this subject regardless of their beliefs. Accusing people of not caring for their offspring without data is a resort I would avoid given the below: ,
    Matthew 7:1-3King James Version (KJV)

7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

If one wants to become informed on the subject the following from Judith Curry should be read given her resignation from the club that pushes the computer models and other questionable leaving no room for honest Science. See below
